Semi-Happy Partygoer wrote: Sat Jul 28, 2018 2:52 am I've never played this game, but I know Laura Bow is referenced as giving a lecture at Tulane. So since the two games are set in the same universe, perhaps Gabriel could team up with elderly Laura for her final case.
That would be a fun idea. Although elderly Laura moving about would be odd. Although, they could do it like LSL3... have it swap back and forth between Gabriel and Laura. :D
Yeah, or have him be the one in the thick of the action while consulting with Laura over the phone or a headset from time to time.

Isn't that what they did at the end of GK3? :?

Even without reading the comments, I'd have said Laura instantly. As a 90 year old, she must be still fresh. Laura represents the non-paranormal investigation - she finds out the things that seem inexplicable but ultimately have a logical solution. Gabriel represents the paranormal stuff. Things that seem mundane are actually bloodsucking werewolf demons. They are bound to annoy each other.

I could see Laura also mocking Gabriel for how he dresses... and how, "back in her day, men dressed like men" - all nice and respectable. Everything Gabriel is not.

So Laura and Gabriel are really Scully and Mulder? ;)

Gabe's like, "It's the XXX-Files."
Laura retorts, "No, just the X files, as in not going to happen."

Gabe says: "Laura, can you paint a tattoo on my chest?"

Laura says: "Sure. Let me get my water-based paints, so the tattoo will run."

(Honestly, I never understood how Grace's paints didn't run when she painted the snake on Gabe's chest...) :?
