Clippy finds himself... herself... itself... whatever wondering why he/she/it/ah, forget it spoke in Dragotha's name.

Yes. This is just a silly "Continue the Story" thread. Anything's possible here.

That said...

The Butler closed the unusual book to this weird story, wondering what had happened to make the writer write such an unusual story.

He opened an old tome, stared at the folks gathered before him, and read the first line: "It was the best of times, it was the worse of times - wait, that's not right, said the old man named..."

... Mr Paul Pantsdown, the local clown who wore pants that bounced on funny suspenders, and hence fell down on a regular basis. Thus his name."

"These clearly are the worst of times," said Mr. Pantsdown. "No 'best' to be had here. Not since..."

"... they outlawed pants, I dare say! Why, that reminds me of that time, Mr. Buttercup had..."

"...consumed fifty buttercups. Then he had to go and have a nice lie-down and a gastric pump. Messy."

And in that gastric pump result, lo and behold, they found something none of them could believe! Why, it was the long lost...

...Medallion of Un-Truth. Legends say that you can ask the medallion any question, and it will always supply the incorrect answer.

But we knew that wasn't as unhelpful as it sounds -- for, behold, if we know the Medallion always tells lies, we can simply assume the opposite. All we had to do was ask "Is [insert statement here] true?"

*tap tap tap* Okay medallion thingie, are you on?? Un-trusty medallion of un-truth! Tell me your worst lie ever!!

The medallion hums to life and glows a bit. Then it says (in a metallic voice): "Politicians are honest."

A-ha! That settles it! This is definitely a medallion that lies! =D
