Gabriel fills a kitchen bowl with water and puts the goldfish in the bowl. Now he has a goldfish bowl to play with!
He then decides to take a plane to L.A., where (on the plane) he will find and steal an old lady's oxygen tank, which he will use along with the goldfish bowl to create a deep-sea diving helmet!
And then he remembers that Zak McCracken did exactly the same thing, says "sorry" to the goldfish, puts it back in the goldfish bowl, and spends the rest of the day scarfing cookies instead.

Roger Wilco changes his pants in every Space Quest game, because he's always a pantload.

Torin stupidly staples the "Torin's Passage" floppy disk to a tree, which causes the game to shut down so the player can do other things.

Gabriel Knight uses the remote control to change the channel and make the pimp move out of the way. Then Larry Laffer says "Hey! Stop stealing my shtick!"

Per the rules - if the specific game is not specified (King's Quest, Space Quest, etc) - you can use any of them (King's Quest 1, King's Quest 2, etc).

The Tickle-Me-Elmo Doll completes Larry's outfit consisting of a diaper, bib and pacifier. His rendezvous has... interesting tastes. Larry thinks to himself "Am I really this desperate?" and then concludes "Yes. Yes I am."
