Not finding any Glory in this whole Quest for Glory bit? Need a hint? Or just want to discuss Quest for Glory - this is the place to do it!

You can rest at the inn in QfG1. (By "inn", I presume you mean the Hero's Tale Inn by the gate, not the tavern where they serve bad drinks). :P It just costs money to rest there, but it's better rest - full health & stamina, like Erana's Peace - but less risky to get there.
I tried "get room" and it was like, "I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean."

But it's all good. I've defeated the ogre and can get through most monsters now.

So going to make my way through the brigand part next. :D

Have you tried "sleep"? Or "buy room"? :)

Wow! I've never defeated the ogre. What skill levels do you need to do that? ;)

I'd just defeated the Ogre for this and made my way to town to get rations.

 Love the name! And those are some impressive stats. *thumbs up* Not very intelligent, I see. Perhaps that's for the best - you need high Int to cast spells.

But he's very strong. VALOR SMASH! ;) Perhaps a nickname could be "Valor the Not-so-Brilliant"? :)

Definitely going to go to another game, rather than QFG2 for the next play through. There's too much time building up the character, so it's taking too long for me when I want to try and get up new videos of let's play stuff sort of on a weekly basis. :D

So QFG2-5 will probably be some of the last games I do. lol

Aww. ;) Isn't that always the way with RPGs, though? Imagine how long an Oblivion or Skyrim playthrough would take.

Yeah. That'd be something where I played a lot of it first to get most of it done and out of the way! :D

That said...

Video is just shy of 7 hours for non commentary (rendering now). One of the videos captured during the game became corrupt - no idea what it was - but my score jumped 3 points, whatever it was I'd done.

Almost done rendering - total time rendering will be about 12 hours. lol

Wow. When I was creating a video of me singing (or doing one of Abe Lincoln's speeches), the entire process could take about 6 hours. Why does rendering take so long?

Wow. Towards the end of that game (after "Brigands done!!!"), it seems like monsters attack you at every screen. Why does that happen? I don't think I've ever fought a troll, and only beat a cheetaur once. (Then again, I only ever played a rogue in QfG1, so...) ;)

I noticed that too. Virtually every screen I moved to - a cheetaur or troll (or goblin, which no biggie by that point) was flying at me.

Thankfully, by then - rescuing the Baron's son - got me a lot of gold - as well as defeating the Kobold - so I was able to stock up on healing potions by that point.
