No money for games this year. I still have loads I haven't touched, though. Mostly indie games from game bundles over the past few months. And I have more games still from years ago I haven't played yet either. I haven't played through the Myst series, for instance, which I've had all the games of for ages (pardon the pun) but never played. I had beaten the first two and had started on the third but stopped. Finished the third one the other day and have started Myst 4 now. Forgot how fun these were (no I'm not being sarcastic).

GOG's doing a survey, which in turn gains you a free game to download. The game (or rather, games) this time is Realms of Arkania 1 & 2. They're together in one package, so while it's technically two games, GOG only counts it as one.

GOG has a sale right now on most of the Sierra games (which includes the KQ, SQ, PQ and QFG series), so if you don't own them, now's a good time to buy!

Kind of sucks that I bought stuff like QFGI-V on GOG, but now if I don't want the whole package for all those Sierra games (which includes QFG), I have to pay the 50% price rather thant he 75% price! damn them!

really ? Thought the 75% was for all games needed to complete your collection. So games you don't matter as long as you end up with the complete collection.
Although I can't confirm as I have them all.

No, if you try to buy them individually - it's 50% off. So KQ1-2-3 for example goes from 2.49 to 4.99

Actually, remember - there's a post in here somewhere - that I own TWO copies. The first one I won, and forgot about. Then I won a second copy. I don't tell the wife I own two of those, because they were like 20 bucks a pop or something... which I think she'd think was excessive.

How does gog work, is it like steam where you have your games available online or do you have to download them and keep them on the computer? And how well do the games work, I mean, can you play them right away or do you still need to tweak them so they'll work with newer computers?
