This video is still freaking awesome and despite being over Star Wars still gets me PUMPED to watch it again (but I won't hehe)! It even manages to make the new movies look good! ;) lol

Uses the song War Pigs by Black Sabbath.

I don't know! I only wanted to post for MI a link to a transcript of the "Intruder" episode (and yes, it's about as stupid as everyone here remembers). ;)

That's freaking amazing - they did do some remixing of the original song to ease in some actual Star Wars music at the end, I believe? Because that's not the ending part of War Pigs.

It is mixed with something else but that isn't Star Wars music, no.

Anyone else excited for Star Trek Picard?
I'm really pleased with what we've seen so far and am very pumped for January.

I'm not as pleased. I'm very very cautious. Nothing has wowed me yet. Lots of "member berries" and yet somehow it still doesn't feel like Star Trek. It'll be nice to see all the returning cast members, but this show really has to prove itself to me. It also looks like they're recycling the Logan storyline yet again. I pray I'm wrong.

^This. What I have seen does not inspire. A Romulan running around with what looks like a katana? Give me a break.

Very sad to just hear of the passing of Rene Auberjonois (Odo from Deep Space Nine).
https://intl.startrek.com/news/rene-aub ... -1940-2019

We lost DC Fontana (writer) just a few days ago, and Aron Eisenberg (Nog) earlier this year.

No tears for D.C. Fontana? Possibly the 2nd most influential person on the formation of Trek.

RIP René Auberjonois and D. C. Fontana! :( They will be missed. Also RIP Caroll Spinney, who played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.

In honour of René, I hereby present a little presentation. Watch and listen, with a glass of red (or whatever you like best), and let a tear trickle down.
René was a versatile actor. He wasn't just Odo in DS9, but also Clayton Endicott III on "Benson" and Paul Lewiston on "Boston Legal".

In films, he was Father Mulcahy in "MASH", the expedition scientist Roy Bagley in "King Kong", and yes, Chef Louis in "The Little Mermaid".

He later branched into computer games, in which he portrayed Talos in the first "God of War" game, Mr. House in Fallout: New Vegas, Karl Schafer in the "Uncharted" game series, and Odo (again!) in "Star Trek Online".
