Wow. :) It is beautiful! Who does it belong to right now? Is anyone thinking of renovating it? ;)

A hiker in Israel who took a detour to an archaeological dig discovered a gold coin dating back to the time of the Emperor Trajan (ruled 98-117 AD).

The article discusses how much the coin would have been worth, why it would be there, who may have dropped it etc. It also talks about other finds made in the past, what happened to the coin afterwards, and so on. Check it out!

Abandoned America: An Autopsy of the American Dream

A series of photos of the abandoned Woodland Sanctuary Developmental Center, a home for disabled children and adults who were wards of the state. These are a bit more creepy than some of the other abandoned sets I have linked to that have a certain haunting grace. These look like the place was vandalized and the weather took over.

That's spectacular, collector! I love abandoned and bucolic places and I take photos of some of the places that I visit. Me and my friend sometimes go on trips around the country just to find this sort of things! I live in Sintra (Portugal) and there are some "haunted" houses in the middle of the forest nearby like you wouldn't believe! I'm gonna upload and post some photos here on the forum!

On the same subject, google street view of Hashima island, one of my favourites! Too bad it became a tourist attraction!
