Got some nice titles today:

The games came from a larger auction actually, but the seller agreed to sell these separately for 50 bucks. Considering "Lode Runner: the legend returns" and "battle bugs" are very hard to find these days (let alone boxed), it's a quite nice deal, especially with Longbow as a third box.

The original auction has many more Sierra games. You may want to have a look. The seller is very open to negotiations.

Went to a thrift store today, not expecting to find anything. I was very pleased when I saw these though.

Image

Was only 99 cents. I'll never use it, and I've never heard of it, but it was Sierra for under a dollar. I couldn't resist.

Image

Still shrinkwrapped for 99 cents. Another that I couldn't help myself.

Image

Best part of the day. I got the full game with all floppies, manuals, and the box for only $3.00. I was very happy.

As a side-note, I also picked up a NES in great condition for $10.00. Best thrift store ever. :D

Well I've got an old computer running Windows 95 that I usually play my Sierra games on, and it's been running very well so far, so I think I'll be fine.

 Yes... But a good pirate! I try to be! The Robin Hood of Pirates! I plunder from the rich and give to the poor...

... which means I should be giving to myself.

Somehow that seems to violate the whole Robin Hood code... :D

I guess I should think of it as more of a... guideline. ;)

Did any of you run off with the remaining ones? The winning bid was patheticly low, only $42.72 for all the remaining game boxes. Considering the titles, he could easily have sold them for fivefold that price, if he would have sold them separately. I didn't bid cause S&H to Europe would have been like $200 by itself... Don't tell me you all skipped out on that auction .

I'm pretty happy with it. Haven't played too much of it yet (school, band, Resident Evil 4 :D ), but it's fun for what I have.

I had to. I have a 100 dollar charge about to hit my credit card anytime now for the Kurse Mini Bust from the folks at Bowen.

Bought it months ago, but it ships in April.

Which means billing should be anytime now.

Nice. The Alien Legacy cover seems to be a version that I am not familiar with. Is it a re-release?

Hi Collector,

I don't know if it's a re-release or not. The trademark info on the box says 1994 and it comes on seven 3.5" floppies. I'm not a fan of the space sim genre but i snagged it on Ebay for $5.80, not counting S&H. Not bad considering the original price sticker is still on it ($49.99 at Babbages).

DK :D

Perhaps the difference is that it is the floppy version.
