I found this in the middle of nowhere while running in the woods! Very beautiful, too bad I didn't have a decent camera with me!
I wonder how it got there and where it came from!

The penultimate picture is very close to where I live, the one of Quinta da Regaleira. I once went there at night, after climbing over the wall with my friends and we got inside an underground gallery not open to the public which was very beautiful and I remember you could feel the bats flapping wings right on your face but you couldn't see them! I was playing GK2 at the time and thought about how a place like that would fit a GK game so perfectly.

With bats you should have been playing GK3.

Actually I should!!! GK3 had been released the year before! But my computer at the time wasn't powerful enough to run GK3 smoothly, so I had to wait almost two years to buy a proper one! GK3 was the first game I got for that computer, back in 2002!

What I think is really cool. The person was probably specifically buried next to that tree - or the tree was planted in their memory, next to the tomb - and as the tree grew, and expanded, it began to wrap around the tombstone - which, is pretty interesting, because you'd think it'd push the tombstone over - but it probably weighs so much that it couldn't... very cool.

Naw, the date on the tombstone is 1866, considerably more than a 100 years older than the tree.

That looks like a painting - the lights by the stairs do not look three dimensional.

Even with fish eye lens - that photo looks like it has a LOT of photoshop work in it (if it's not a painting).

Oh, it is very likely that it may have been digitally enhanced, but it was taken with a pretty strong flash, which added a lot of contrast and sharpness. You can see the stark shadows from the flash, in spite of the daylight coming onto the room from the opposite side (down the hall to the left).
