I have recently picked up most of the old games. I've run through the Space Quests and QfG series again. I had never played SQVI... THAT was an experience...
I also was a fan of the obscure BIRTHRIGHT:The Gorgon's Alliance... but I had played the pen and paper version and so it made perfect sense. I was impressed with their take on the AD&D 2nd edition rules for adventuring. Good times.
That is me in summary. I'll be stickin' to the code for being here.

Welcome aboard! (Judging by the user name, King's Quest III should be your favorite since it has pirates!)
So what would you say is your favorite Sierra game you've played?

Or he used to cheat starting the AGI version of KQ4

More that I started my Sierra Career on pirated copies of the early AGI games... That said, everything beyond KQ3 was legitimately purchased.
I was too young to really know the difference, but It was obvious trying to play KQ3 without "Disk 2" made defeating Mannanan impossible. I still spent hours exploring that house, getting in trouble and falling to my doom on the infamous twisty path. My brother beat it using debug mode to acquire all the items needed to craft all the spells and through sheer determination. Apparently, only the Valley didn't work so he picked up the game in the cargo hold of the pirate ship. (Teleporting past the content we didn't have.) Good memories.
My favorite has been the Quest for Glory Series, but I still purchased them all on GOG, to see what I missed as a child.

Do you have physical copies of Sierra games? Somewhere on this forum we have a show off your collection type thread. I have most of the Sierra games (physical copies) but also bought all the Sierra (Quest type) games through GOG.com as well.

Unfortunately, the only game that I managed to hold onto were my QfG Anthology and QfG5 CDs and manuals. My brothers or parents have possession of the rest of the collection. Even though the Colonel's Bequest (full 5.25" floppies) and Birthright:The Gorgon's Alliance are technically mine... even without possession of the same.

I just noticed my rank is "Al who?"
I guess I don't post very much
That's sad No Sierra fan deserves that rank! I can't imagine anyone here saying that!

Don't worry, the ranks are post count generated, so if you keep chatting it up, you'll get a more deserving title!

I don't get the reference!
But then I am quite uneducated in pretty much the rest of the world.

Hi everyone,
I'm Canadian. Used to love Sierra adventure games and the entire culture (Interaction Magazine, the Sierra BBS, hint books, ... ) when I was young. Very happy to meet you all!
