I am in Quest for Glory 2. In the room just before you find the Statue of Iblis (and the genie ring), there are riches to tempt you. But if you touch them, you are killed by a falling stalactite, 'cos you were greedy. Game over.

That was something of a guess. I looked at a video that shows "all" of the QFG2 deaths, but it didn't show this.

All right - to help narrow this down some more.

Are you in a game that has more than 2 in the series?

^ Exactly. This rules out GK and LSL.

And the lack of Quest, knocks out EcoQuest and Conquest games.

And it's not Dynamix, so then it's not Heart of China, or anything.

Now, this is tricky.

Because - Colonel's Bequest was the original title, before it got a sequel. And then it became Laura Bow.

So the Quest would leave out the first.

But could leave the second.

So are you in the Dagger of Amon Ra?
