My other guess for the blurry image would be that it's a texture from GK3. Probably one of the paintings.

With BBP around don't use the paintings from GK3 for your cropped image. It is her specialty.

Hmm Gabriel Knight 1 is my game guess. As far as the location and object goes. I would guess the graffiti clue on the Tomb in the Graveyard.
