I don't suppose Peasant's Quest has a place on that list? It's a really well done King's Quest parody - made in Flash, but it re-captures the old AGI style nicely and has a great sense of humor.

It is already mentioned in the Flash game thread.

I should check that thread more often.

Collector, it seems like you missed my post:
OmerMor wrote:There are actually 2 completed remakes of The Black Cauldron.
The second one (which I believe came out first) was made by DreamMaster in AGS and can be found here.
I wrote it again so you could add this remake to your list.

I saw your post, but I haven't updated the first post in some time because I have been busy with other things. It has been added, now.

You've not added "Owl's Quest" - which details can be found in this post!

Where would YOU put Owl's Quest - a game that centers on Cedric?

Under Sierra Fan Game?

Or Questionable Fan Game?

Should add KQ3Redux.

It should go under the Sierra Based Fan Games section. The Questionable Fan Games is for more risque games. As irritating as Cedric is, unless he does a striptease, he doesn't qualify.

King's Quest II SCI once again has a (quite modest) website!

Also, now that KQ3Redux is released, it should get a spot there.

Fantastic! Added to the first post. I have said it before, but this is the fan project that intrigues me the most. To capture the charm that KQ1SCI had is a wonderful idea. Have you thought about a demo in jDOSBox? Cloudee's "Desktop Design" has been broken for a while. If you need it, I have code to embed it.

Well, I was against the idea of a demo early on. I just wanted to finish it and get it out there. But I suppose I could make an unplayable demo of just the introduction sequence and maybe a few pre-programmed areas of the game to show off its features and look. Kind of like the SQ1 demo in KQ2. That would be neat.

Also, I'm fine-tuning the website right now and bringing a little more format to it. It's still rather plain. I may update it as I go along. I've forgotten how much I enjoyed web-design lol. It's fun playing with raw code and making something just the way you envision it. Screenshots will come and I'm also making a little progress section on the right-hand side. I'll try to update it when I actually work on the game. Again, I have no intention of cancelling this but it is entirely a spare time project and will take a while yet. But I'll see it through.
