Yes, all I know is that it says "Intel(R) HD Graphics" ...

I can look into updated drivers, but if there are other options that'd be great. A "generic" mode support for instance. Given that I won't really know what computer I'll always be on...

Went ahead and downloaded the most recent drivers from Intel and installed them, which promptly bluescreened and rebooted the laptop. As soon as it booted back up I tried again for giggles, and it installed the second time. Rebooted again after successful install and scummvm worked in full-screen.

thanks. Strange (to me) that the dell oem drivers were crashing ... oh well, all is good (for now). unfortunately I now don't know what else might have broken (special dell power-saving modes, etc?) ... but at least I can get my kq6win game on full screen again! 'cause, you know, that's more important than work anyway...
