Here is a list of all of the files that should be in the DATA folder to compare with yours.

With yesterday's car adventures and food poisoning (one of those days...) I didn't have time until now:
Have, but not on chart:

EXAM.226
EXAM.227
EXAM.228
r15 directory with content
r17 directory with content
r24 directory with content
r26 directory with content
Don't have:
C55 directory but you knew that
R01\R01.GZN
...\R01.zon
R02\R02.GZN
...\R02.zon
R03\R03.GZN
...\R03.zon

r08\r08.zon
r11\R11.GZN

r28\R28.GZN
r28\r28.zon
r32\R32.GZN
r32\r32.zon
r34\R34.GZN
If you need some of the shortcuts I took in full typing, let me know, but now it's time ofr the groceries (which need to be done by bicycle and its raining hard).

What do you mean by the "..."? Do you mean all of the files in between? Specifically, what do you need in the r01, r02 and r03 folders?
Is the copy you have multi language? That would explain the extra files.

No it's just English. With ... I meant in the same directory. Not feeling too well today so I was skimping on typing. Just checked and the files aren't on the disk either.
r01\R01.GZN
r01\r01.zon
r02\R02.GZN
r02\r02.zon
r03\R03.GZN
r03\r03.zon
(One thing that strikes me is that all the "zon" files are missing. With zon being the Dutch word for sun and today being extremely cloudy and rainy, I couldn't help but make a connection.)

I am not sure of what to make of the differences. The label for disc 5 of your copy makes me think it is the equivalent of a Slash re-release that got a bit botched. I am not sure what the extra files are. The German version has extra files that I assume are Mostly language files. Perhaps they started with a multilanguage copy and tried to strip out the non-English files. If they then missed some of the language files and unintentionally removed other files. Anyway, here are the missing files. See if this solves your crashes.

I can't get it to crash. Which direction were you trying to look from the save?

This direction. I took this screenshot I made from a BB Flashback Express recording I did. Sometimes in a cell I can spin around in circles without crashing, sometimes it'll crash when I'm about to enter a cell. But this shot causes the game to crash every time.
Another dead cert is to face a jail cell wall while the droid buzzes by.
(It's nerve-wrecking, but it still beats the GRS section.
)
