What's wrong with calling SHP "SHP", anyway? :? I think it's a fine name, and surely the context would make it clear if we're speaking of the person or the forum. :)

SHP, if you're looking for somewhere cold and quiet ... may I present Melbourne? ;) It's usually very cold in wintertime, but in other seasons it fluctuates - it might be cold for 2-3 days, but then it'll heat up again for 2-3 days, and then back to cold again. That's Melbourne weather for ya. :P I believe they used to call it the "Four seasons in one day" city, and probably still do. They used to say about Melbourne: "If you don't like the weather, mate, wait 15 minutes!" (That's a bit of an exaggeration, but not much...) :)

A city of 6,000 people in Maine, huh? Let me guess - was it ... maybe ... Belfast, Waldo? Or Gardiner, Kennebec? (Yes, I looked it up ...) *blushes* I'm a curious person. :) No shame in coming from a small town. I was born in Rehovot, a town in Israel that - to me - seemed a small town when I migrated to Melbourne in 1990, although (at the time) it probably numbered about 70,000 people and now has nearly 200,000. So it's probably not a small town any more. :) It's also a major economic, software-development and science-research centre and boasts a couple of millionaires, along with international models, actors/actresses, sports players, authors, poets, politicians and soldiers ... not bad for a town that's only been around since 1890. ;)

(Feel free to follow the wiki-link if you're curious, like me, and want to know more). :)

I definitely want to visit Melbourne and scope the place out. Same with Brisbane. As soon as we're able to get away, we will.
