Sorry, I'm the other way. I try to keep the game stable, but also install mods that make every region look different (e.g Dawnstar and surrounds looks different from Whiterun's, Solitude and surrounds looks different from Markarth's, etc.) I also have mods to give the races additional advantages/disadvantages/powers, so they play differently. A mod or two for additional weapons/armour (e.g. LOTR weapons), but nothing that would break the 'medieval' feel (so, swords/bows/etc. are OK. Even an arquebus is OK. The real fun happens when you install too many mods and the entire game world basically says "screw it!" and everything becomes a complete disaster. I love chaos.
Yeah, you're not "supposed" to play the game this way, but hey... if the devs let me install mods and other sick-minded individuals design mods to create "The Elder Scrolls - SNAFU Edition" why not?
And, of course, new party members are always welcome! I have Inigo, Sofia and Lucien Flavius - they're all a lot of fun. Who's your favourite Skyim "follower"?
