Tell me about it... I just want these "XP Compatible" versions of the game to see how they work...

I know. It's been a while since I've seen Prince Alexander's authentic, original, Win95 compatible, character portrait. I just don't know how I've survived. :D Plus the game keeps locking up on me.

Ohhhh... now I have to play KQ6 again. I just cannot resist. I really can't.

There are many computer games I love, but KQ6 has the divine spark within it - it gets everything right, story, puzzles, characters, witty lines, music, situations and replay value. When I first played it, I was left with such a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction that I smile even now thinking about it.

I think that's why KQ7 disappointed me. I have since replayed the game and I know my first judgement was unfair... but that judgement was on the basis of KQ6 having been absolutely superb. KQ7 is good, but its look came as an unpleasant shock (so Disney-cartoonish) and its storyline was not as graced as that of KQ6. On its own merits, it's delightful.

<goes off to reinstall KQ6>

*agrees with Al*

But, I much prefer the original pixelly character portraits than the newer. :)

I think the same thing about System Shock 2, Alm. Think I'll dig that one up for kicks Smile

Kudos man... that line had me suddenly laughing so loud that the wife turned her head to ask me what was wrong... I tried explaining it - but she merely shook her head and kept flipping through her magazine!

Collector, that's beautifully done. I loved the way the screenshots are organised so that they give a consistent flow, and they're very well selected screenshots, too.

KQ6 has no peer. It really has no peer. Looking through those shots brings back the knowledge of that with remarkable vividness.

I have fleshed it out a little more. I will add shots from the long ending, later. Jules, see shot # 26. I added it just for you.
