Just did a Buy it now on ebay for Phantasmagoria: Stagefright collection. My original copies of those games disappeared over the years.

Don't forget about the new installer for Phantasmagoria.

Used it to record the playthrough and works like a charm ;)

Thanks Collector, I'll check it out. I didn't think it was possible to run a Windows game in DOS hehe. BTW, great site you have here. I'm a big Sierra fan myself, been playing and re-playing these games ever since I had my Apple IIe back in the early 80s. :D

Phantasmagoria has both a Windows and DOS interpreter. The DOSBox installer will eliminate the need to swap discs during play.

Is that true for Phantasmagoria 2 as well? I thought that one was a Windows only game. My memory may be a bit foggy though hehe.

My copy does, but not all versions do. There is a DOS conversion patch for the copies that have no DOS interpreter. Another member, HarroSIN, made an installer for it that uses DOSBox. There is also the Squirt the Cat installer from jafa that will install the Windows version. I have been thinking about doing an HDD/DVD installer for it, but is not high on my list considering that there are already two other installers for a game that is not very popular.

I don't even believe it. It finally happened.

I won SQ1EGA. For a VERY reasonable price.

Amazing...

Great! Was it the one that I PMed you about? It's OK to post an image, I don't think that DPX bothers with his thread. :)

I will post an image when it's in my hands and I can believe it! But yes, one and the same! Same one I had looked at before that you PM'ed me about the same day... finally figured I'd make a bid... and no one even bid ONCE after I did... and I didn't have the value high at all... a mere 10 bucks... since wife's bday just passed and X-Mas around the bend... finances are tight... S&H cost more than the game itself.

Mickey's Space Adventure, one of the Sierra/Disney titles. I believe this Tandy release is from 1986, though originally it was released in 1984 for the Apple II and Commodore 64. Not 100% sure. Nice deal for only 6 bucks.
