You got it! The computer game I was thinking of is Titan Quest!

Maia and I had played Titan Quest years ago and thought about going back to it, but it's become overly complex. Too bad, though, because it was one of the few ARPGs that were everything wasn't "grim and dark" all the time.
Tawmis wrote: Fri Nov 26, 2021 4:22 pm Titan Quest was released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One earlier this year, the classic titles first appearance on home consoles. The new mode will now allow fans to play the game together on a single television, apart from the 6-player online co-op multiplayer.
Titan Quest was originally a PC title released in 2006, and was later released in 2016 for Android/iOS (doesn't seem like it'd work well, but whatever...) and then in 2018 for the PS4, XBox One, and Nintendo Switch.

If you look on Steam, you'll only come across the Anniversary Edition (which is essentially a spruced up version of the original game with all DLC added) of Titan Quest which was released for PC in 2016 as well. Anyone who owned the original 2006 version and all the DLC got the Anniversary Edition for free.

Seems like the kind of game I'd definitely play.

I'd like to give my turn over to Rath to throw one out there.

(Since I have two other threads right now when people are trying to guess something from me on here)

So get in here Rath.

And remember to mention if it's a computer game or console game.

And I forbid it to be Quest for Glory from you. :D

(I am kidding, you can use QfG) :D

I remember a computer game where some strange guys want to take over the world. Cross my heart but 'tis true, guv'nor :P

Is it Quest for Glory 2?

I kid!

Was it a game based here on Earth?

Nope, it's not QfG2. :)

Yes, the game is based on Earth.

Is it a futuristic setting (having weapons we don't currently have, like laser guns and such)?

Just saying "nope" is worthless. You forgot to include the hints you're supposed to give to us since we guessed incorrectly.

DPX is correct. You technically owe us two clues. :)

*blush* Sorry, sorry! *rushes to arrange clues*

Tawm ... it is not a futuristic setting, but earlier.

DPX ... it was not released in the 80s, but later.

And Tawm ... the game is not EVIL GENIUS, but sometimes you feel like a genius when you progress in the game! :D

Is it an adventure game? (This includes an "adventure/whatever genre" hybrid).
