I never use Reddit - but figured, since I finished Neverending Nights - I'd post there and promote it. See if gets more views and subscribers.

Well this is cool - got a few comments on there.
And also this message - which, not being an avid reddit user - I have no idea what this means to get a "Gold Award"...

People like you inspire me to work on niche projects that I enjoy, without worrying about the audience or how much time is involved. Great job 👍

Here's what a "gold award" means in Reddit.

P.S. My google-fu must be getting better! ;)

Seriously, great job on Neverending Nights. It's definitely entertaining and well-made. :)

Your google-fu has increased! (Skill 255)

And thanks! It's definitely a passion of mine. (Neverending Nights, not your google-fu) :D

I love this piece Travis did for us - used it in like six episodes - but it was always so faint so it didn't over power the voice acting and ambient sounds...

Proud to present the music without anything else...

"Descent."

Hmm. Are these real instruments, I wonder? If so, who's playing the cello (the first instrument to be heard, that sets the melody?) ;)

Very nice orchestration! Thumbs up for Travis. :)

I know he plays a number of (physical) instruments (such as the trumpet, and other brass).
But I believe the music he did for us was digital.

His LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/travis-richards-1a73a435
His Twitter (which he's not used since 2019 - probably because he's a father these days) - https://twitter.com/snafecomposed?lang=en
His Youtube - which has a bunch of his music - https://www.youtube.com/user/SnafeComposed/videos
His Las Vegas music cert thingie - https://digitalscholarship.unlv.edu/mus ... itals/239/

A few weeks ago - I came up with the idea of going over some of the Easter Eggs we use in the game.

First one talks about how the name of the dragon came to be "The Dragon from Silver Lake."

Neverending Nights - Music Video: Mischief
I don't think this song ever made it into ANY of our episodes - and I can't even be sure why - because it's SUCH a fantastic piece done by Travis "Snafe" Richards for us! Clearly I need to do something new so I can use this piece. Despite never being used - I definitely wanted to share it because it's so great.

 Naughty. I like it. :)

By the way, the "death" animation in NWN1 (which you can see around 1:50 or 1:52) always struck me as odd. The NPC basically throws himself up in the air, lands on his butt, and then collapses all the way down. It's as if they'd been shot, but decided to land on their butt instead of on their back. Any idea what's going on there? Does anyone actually do that when they die? :?

I can't remember what the death scene is like in NWN - because what I use (like to show Alan the Astounding passing out from drinking) is the "fall" emote. There's a forward fall and a backward fall you can do.
So the backward fall sort of makes sense that you go up in the air - looks very much like stepping on a banana peel and falling on your back.
