No, you give a clue anytime the question we ask is a "No."

So for example if my game was "Awesome Quest, by Sierra" - and someone asked:

"Is it a game with Quest in the title?"

By responding YES, I am giving a clue.

If someone asked:

Is it a game made by Capcom?

I might say, "No. It wasn't a fighting game, so it wasn't Capcom, or Midway."

(The clue provided ties to the question asked, so that it gives a clue to the question that was asked, rather than the above answer being "The box was red" - which has nothing to do with the question).
