Hmm ... *thinks* Was this game released in the early 90s (i.e. 1990-1994)?

Nope.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 3:45 pm Hmm ... *thinks* Was this game released in the early 90s (i.e. 1990-1994)?
Nope, the game I'm thinking of was released more recently than 2009, and is currently sold on Steam.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 1:21 am Hmm ... *thinks* Was this game released in the late 2000s (i.e. 2005-2009)?
Nope. The game I'm thinking of is older than 2019Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 4:00 pm OK ... was this game published in the last few years (i.e. 2019-2021)?
No, it's definitely not a VR game.
Well, there's a (recent) VR game called "Warplanes: WW1 Fighters" on Steam that's a flight sim. I just don't know about controlling more planes. Since I am not savvy with the flight sim games unless it's Star Wars related.DeadPoolX wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 9:03 pmNo, it's definitely not a VR game.
HINT: You know it's set in WW1, that's not VR, and that it was released somewhere between 2010 and 2018. In addition, if you re-read my original statement about this game, you might be able to narrow it down by genre on Steam.

So everything's a stab in the dark, for me.
Well, that's good because I clearly stated that the game I'm thinking of is neither VR nor a Flight Sim in my last two responses to Tawmis.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 10:59 pmAll right. I'm sorry, but VR and flight sims don't mean much to me. *blush*
No, it's not Air Conflicts: Secret War, and... you somehow linked to the incorrect game. You linked to Warplanes: WW1 Fighters, which was the SAME game that Tawmis linked to and I already told him that wasn't correct because the game I'm thinking of isn't VR or a Flight Sim.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 10:59 pm So I also have to guess. Is it Air Conflicts: Secret War? (2011)
You've previously asked "was this game published from 2005-2009?" and "was this game published from 2019-2021?" I answered NO to both, which means this game was released sometime between 2010 and 2018. I really don't know how much clearer I can be without outright stating the release date.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 10:59 pm I'm also a bit confused, because you said "The game I'm thinking of is older than 2019" and "It was released somewhere between 2010 and 2018". Can you please clarify?
I think there might be a misunderstanding here. Since VR and flight sims don't mean much to me, I can't tell if a game belongs to those categories or not. If your game isn't one of them, I can't tell.DeadPoolX wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 12:23 amWell, that's good because I clearly stated that the game I'm thinking of is neither VR nor a Flight Sim in my last two responses to Tawmis.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 10:59 pmAll right. Is it Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol?
Okay, but Steam lists the genre, and the store page lets you you know if a game is VR-compatible or outright requires it.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 4:20 pm Since VR and flight sims don't mean much to me, I can't tell if a game belongs to those categories or not. You got it! It's not a particularly complex game (although it does require you to think tactically), it's still fun and I've always liked turn-based games since there's no rush when playing.
Computer or console game?Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 11:21 pm OK ... I remember a game where, through the patient gathering of clues, you eventually solve a mystery, all to the accompaniment of atmospheric jazz music.
