Jackpot after jackpot! Didn’t Al Lowe post something similar, a design strategy, on sierragamers a while back? Or was it Phantasmagoria? We used it as an example when we tried making a game, Coffee Break, with Ken back in 2004/5. The site has changed so much since then, I’m not sure if it’s still on there. But man, to have the physical copy with handwriting.. NICE!

All of the old posts and uploaded files seem to be there, but the site has changed so much that that much is lost in the maze of all of the old posts. I am not sure how TalkSpot works, but I imagine that like other boards it relies on a data table and the newer software can't properly read it. All of the old posts have been disassociated from the posters.

Not only that, I'm not receiving any emails even though I'm subscribed to get new post notifications. Patrick gets them all the time and I even rechecked my account settings.

They are still having issues on SierraGamers. It may have been Ken's hobby, but I can't say that I think a lot of the TalkSpot software. He may have been a good programmer at one time, but things move on after he quit doing it for a living. He as much as admitted that he couldn't understand SCI, which is supposedly C++ like. MI has dabbled with SCI Studio and AGI Companion, could better say.

I think Andy Roark took over the grunt work for ken.
It must be getting huge because the other day I saw a web banner on a totally different site advertising TalkSpot.

Finally, one of the origami boxes, and for only $9.99, sealed:
Of course the corners are a little crushed, as are most of these type boxes but no wear, otherwise. Look for a
Sid & Al' s Incredible Toons installer soon.

Nice! Are there any other origami boxes aside from GK1 and this one?

Wow! I didn't know Sid & Al had such a cool box! It was one of my favourites as a kid, and it still is (although my favourites corner is getting crowded).
Great catch Collector!

Not that I am aware of, but then I would not be surprised if there was another.

Never knew GK1 wasn’t the only one with an origami box. Neat!

Which fortunately works in DOSBox 0.74 and not in earlier versions (display problems)
Pretty cool box nonetheless.

Individual copies of KQ3 and KQ4. Also, a copy of TIM3, but it's only the cd.

No chance that the KQ4 is the AGI?

Where would I check to see? The version number on the disc is 1.006.004, but I don't see AGI or SCI anywhere.
