Uh, study is on the first floor.
There's the basement (spell stuff), 1st floor (kitchen and study), 2nd floor (bedrooms), 3rd floor (telescope).
Is the black cat ever seen in the room you're in? (I think the only room he never enters is Gwydion/Alex's room... so I could ask if you're in Alex's room, but where the fun in that?)
