Think I narrowed it down...
KQ4
Found indoors
part of a puzzle
not in a civilized area
- not in the mines
- or anything owned by Lolotte
- not troll's house (I think Rath means Ogre? Giant?)
- Not during intro
- Not out to sea
more than one person present in the area
I think this narrows it down to one of two things (if it's an item)
Are you an inventory item?

OK - so now, if I am right - you can only be one of two things left.
I am going to go for a guess - are you the "Crystal Ball/The Eye" from the Witches in the cave?

Yes I am!
OK - because if you weren't that, then by deduction, you would have had to have been the scarab which is traded for the crystal ball/eye.
So my turn... now to think of something...!

Are you set in the present? (with respect to the game's release anyway. So LSL or Gabriel Knight are in the present. Laura Bow is in the past. Manhunter is in the "future")
