Have you done any more music or are you just using that from KQ1SCI?

Re: Sierra Fan Games
The KQ1SCI tracks currently in the game are just placeholder. I will be writing an entirely original soundtrack. All that comes after programming and graphics are close to complete, though.

How about adding a few more screenshots.

Re: Sierra Fan Games
Yeah, I mentioned screenshots would come soon. Just have to capture them all and stuff. Eventually.

The youtube video needs updating too - the church has since been redone, right? At least you've got a different screenshot of it over at sciprogramming.

Re: Sierra Fan Games
Yeah. Once I have more graphics assets complete I'll do another video. Not really worth it at this point to update until I have a lot more to show. I'd like to get a lot more sprites done, some random event scripting, etc.

Re: Sierra Fan Games
Lets see some LSL fan games. First off, the missing floppies! There's always been a hole in our lives because of that series.
Re: Sierra Fan Games
Hi! I'm pretty new to this forum. I was introduced to Sierra through the LSL series. This got me interested in other sierra adventures. I am also a fan of text adventure games. I was wondering if people would be interested in seeing a text adventure remake of a sierra game. I am thinking of doing the KQ games as I have the novels in the 4th edition KQ Compendium for reference. I would start with KQ1 and do the game in the TADS engine.
Re: Sierra Fan Games
You may be interested in Infamous Adventures' project, Kingdom of Sorrow.

Re: Sierra Fan Games
When you say "text adventure" do you mean strictly text, or like Mystery House (which is text/graphical, I guess?)... Either way, if you have the patience, I'd be willing to check it out, having done my own silly (and small) text adventure game, inspired by Sierra games that was done in QBASIC, and then compiled by an ancient version of PowerBasic entitled Final Soul, so I have a weak spot for those old text adventure games!joek0 wrote:Hi! Like Zork and other Infocom adventure games. I am a huge fan of the old z-machine text adventure games.Tawmis wrote:When you say "text adventure" do you mean strictly text, or like Mystery House (which is text/graphical, I guess?)... I say do it! If you do, and you don't have a website, I would be more than happy to host them for you on Larry Laffer.net.joek0 wrote:Like Zork and other Infocom adventure games. Yeah, awesome - I love the idea. I've got a stalled project going the opposite direction (from text adventure to graphical) - but I think I recognize you from sciprogramming so you might already know about itjoek0 wrote:Like Zork and other Infocom adventure games.
