[2024] The Many Rooms of the MASQ!

I join some of the others in the Billiard room.

[* Ivaylo]

Ivaylo the Wise Reader cannot contain himself any longer! He throws the book across the hall, where it hits the wall! "RRAaaaaahhh!"

Then Ivaylo tramps off to the Lounge and asks Tardy Tardis, "Do you know the works of -- I don't know his name -- a physician? A doctor? Who was it -- ah, yes -- Doctor Who!"

[* Grumpy bear]

Bah, too many people! I go to the lirary to snuggle up with a good book, but there;s no good corner to snuggle up in and there are no good books. Most of them are fake, one even had a poisoned chalice in it.

I go to the dining room hoping to find an after dinner mint.

[* Tardy Tardis]

Tardy Tardis laughs as Ivaylo storms into the Lounge with his question.

“Ah, Doctor Who, a fellow well-versed in strange travels and peculiar timelines! Quite familiar, actually—you could say I’m something of an expert on his escapades.”

They lean back thoughtfully. “And tell me, Ivaylo, what would you ask of a time-traveling doctor?”

As the question hangs in the air, Tardy Tardis considers their next destination. Perhaps it’s time to see what mystery is unfolding in the Conservatory. They get up and head there, feeling that a bit of green might offer inspiration.

I go to the Ballroom, hoping to get one final waltz in before the end of the evening.

[* Ivaylo]

Ivaylo the Thoughtful considers his question carefully. "Tell me, O wise physician," he starts, "would you be able to take me back to Bulgaria in the late 1270s? For that is the place and time where I belong!"

He smacks his fist into his palm for emphasis, his passions rising. "I burn to help defend my people in their hardship!" He declares.

[* Grumpy bear]

Hrmpf! All good books must be in the study so I go there. Somebody left fingerprints all over the globe. Who would do this!

[* Single Malt Scotch]

I go to the Kitchen and fix myself a midnight snack.

[* Tardy Tardis]

Tardy Tardis turns to Ivaylo with a grin and a glint of mischief in their eyes.

"Ah, Ivaylo the Thoughtful, if only I could whisk you back to Bulgaria of the 1270s! A noble quest indeed. But tell me," they muse, "is it truly just the time you miss—or something more? The thrill of a purpose, perhaps?"

With a fond smile, they add, "If I stumble upon any rifts in time, you'll be the first to know."

Satisfied with their exchange, Tardy Tardis feels the pull of curiosity once more and decides to drift to the Study, wondering who left the globe smudged. Once there, they ponder aloud, "Ever wonder just how many hands have spun this globe, dreaming of far-off places?"

The study - so I might read up on Moose.

Reading is boring. Anyone got information on Moose?

I go to the library to read up on current theories of time travel. It might come in handy when speaking to Tardy Tardis.

I go out to the Hall to see if my umbrella is dry yet. It isn't. Hrmpf!

With my newfound knowledge of time travel, I go back in time to when this game first began...

I go to the lounge and peruse the selection of scotches. Nope. Nothing as fine as myself.

I go to the lounge to get a drink and rest from all the walking I did. Hmmpf!
