Which would be odd, since you said you're not alive.

And I think the spirits are restricted to in and one screen away from the graveyard, if I remember.

Sorry, nope and nope.

(The only undead in QfG1 are in the graveyard).

So you're not a monster, alive, or undead, but you're mobile (seen on multiple screens), and you're not on the hero, and you're not a part of the scenery.

So are you found in one of the menus (whether it's file, or the character "sheet"), which can technically be viewed anywhere.
