Did play around with the cycles: putting them lower made it worse, but higher, near 20000, that made it run smoother. Plus you don't have the nasty pauses right now, which is great: the phone and the Wacme game were a drag.

Replace the config tool with this one and run it. If it works, I'll update the installer.

It works!! Smooth as a whistle, even the cursor's stopped dragging, the timing is perfect...

THANK YOU!!!

Things all went so super-smooth now that I played Toonstruck again - it's great having the timing run correctly - but yesterday I ran into an odd glitch in my favourite section: Nefarious's study with the sunglasses. The bookshelf seemed to be standing upright after it was already down. When I returned to the room it was displayed correctly though. Unfortunately I saved over my file and will now have to play through Toonstruck again.

That has to be an error with the game itself. I did a quick look, but I did not find anything about a patch for the game.

Played it again and didn't have it fortunately, but after 4 times playing I still don't get what BB Wolf meant when he said "Without my evening glass of wine I get a little testes." :?

You sure that it wasn't "testy"?

BB Wolf mixes up a lot of words. "Lovely day for a stroller", "it sorta breaks prototype to talk to dinner..." and it's the one word mixup I didn't get... Thanks again!

Got three CD-is today. Mystic Midway's the first, it's a pretty awful shooter that I already had on PC version, can be seen in full horror here. Another one is the sequel to Mystic Midway, called Mystic Midway: Phantom Express, which also appears to be a cruddy shooter, and the third is Space Ace. Which looks like a scifi version of Dragon's Lair.

I have heard of Space Ace, but know nothing about it.

It is a Dragon's Lair cash in from 1993, also animated by Don Bluth. The damsel in distress has a nicer voice than Daphne but aside from that, the flashes are often hard to see.

This one's slightly different from mine for as far as I've got: in the first section I don't have those thumpers to pass.

I've just bought Broken Sword - The Sleeping Dragon.
Anyone here played it? I'm worried it'd be a repeat scenario of Sherlock Holmes and Jack The Ripper, as in: spend an hour installing, five minutes playing, three hours fanning myself over seasickness.

I have played the first two Broken Swords and enjoyed them. The puzzles are pretty tough (though soemtimes silly), and the graphics are just plain pretty. ;) I also have Sleeping Dragon, but I've never played it. Still, if you've played Runaway (or GK3), you should enjoy TSD. :)
