I may try that. It seems that Chris takes up more space on-screen than Leon did, but I may just be looking for reasons to dislike the game.

Here's the website where you can get the FOV Mod. You can also find a ton of different modifications, most of which consist of different costumes. Naturally, someone decided to make a "naked skin" version of Sheva, but who didn't see that coming? :P

You'll have to register to get the mods, but it's no more complex than the registration found here.

What does SHP get out of a purchase if it's done through one of those links? I'm going to be buying a couple of games off of GOG, and I was wondering.

It is a small percentage of each sale.

In fact, it's 40% off both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Awakenings in one package for $47.98. Not too shabby. :P

If we didn't already have DA:O, we'd seriously consider getting that package. The price for both of those (the original game and the expansion) is about the same as the expansion alone.

Alien Swarm is completely FREE to download and play on Steam. It's designed with co-op in mind (although there is a offline single player practice mode) with up to four people playing.

For those of you who get motion sickness when playing FPS, you'll be happy to note that Alien Swarm is NOT a first-person game. It's actually played from an isometric viewpoint, so you can see your character and your teammates easily.

If you have already have Steam -- and quite a few of you do -- I'd strongly suggest downloading this game. It's fun and although extremely light on story, it's a great game to play alongside a group of people.

In fact, if some of you were willing, we could play together. I think it'd be fun if we could get a group together. :)

I'd love to give it a go. I've had it since it came out but I haven't played it yet. Be nice to play with some friends. What's your Steam ID, DPX?

In other news, Space Quest 1, 2, and 3 are now released on Good Old Games. It should be noted that in this release they include the AGI version of Space Quest 1 rather than the remake!

I have the same name on Steam as I have here :). But I'll leave a comment.

EDIT: Hmmm seems I can't make a comment.

I have my comments section set to "friends only" so if you tried to comment before I added you as a friend, that'd explain why you couldn't write anything. You can now if you want. ;)

I don't remember if I posted this or not, but Space Quest 1, 2, and 3 are up on Good Old Games, now. $9.99 for all three like the other pack with 4, 5, and 6. The only difference between this pack and others is that it contains the AGI version of Space Quest 1 rather than the remake which is included in the Vivendi/Steam collection. This is the first time SQ1AGI has been included in an SQ collection since the last great 2-disc collection from the late 90s.
