I was looking at the Taskbar. Besides pinned items, Win7's looks flat and Vista's has a rounded look. Not seen in her screenshot are the Window buttons (maximize, minimize, window.) Vista's height wise are set in the middle of the Titlebar and Win7's is at the top edge of the Titlebar.

Here is my desktop. 13 virtual desktops.

The legs are of my little niece.
The 3 blocks at the top right are icons/shortcuts. (open terminal, open alarmclock, turn off screen)
The block right next to "internet" determines how multiple windows are ordered on this virtual desktop.
All other stuff is started from keyboard commands and by logging in.

(winkey + I = internet browser, etc)

I can't minimize my windows. So yes, I need a lot of space to park everything that is open :)

After starting up, already 5 are filled with various things.

I'm sporting a nice CGI render of the Enterprise D currently.

Question for you MI... I know you like Star Trek (between the wallpaper and the one other game - the MMO for it?)... Just curious how you feel about Star Wars? Like it a lot? Meh about it? Dislike it? There's always that weird rift between many SW fans vs ST fans.

I like both a whole lot. But I still prefer Star Trek. I guess because I started with it.

As far as SW goes, I also prefer the original trilogy. I still like the prequels (probably more than a lot of people), but the originals can't be beat. I have tons of Star Wars games ranging back to Tie Fighter, X-Wing, and Rebel Assault 1 & 2. Then entire Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series as well. I also bought KOTOR on Steam a while back. Haven't gotten very far yet and I don't really have lots of time to play it. Sometimes I get in the mood and pick it up. Was a big fan of the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series the most, though.

I've changed my wallpaper to this amazing work of art and genius.

As soon as I saw MI's desktop, I knew that I had to reply just to saw how awesome I thought it was.

As for my own desktop, it's...well...green. And that's pretty much it.

I definitely agree. It is mind-blowing though.

Kudos, MI!

Actually I didn't make that one. Which is why I praised its simple beauty openly. I saw it on another guy's desktop on another post your desktop thread and asked for a copy.
