Sierra Classic may be broken until I can update it. If you have any issues just switch to Prosilver until I can find time to update the Sierra.

So far everything seems functional.

Yes, everything looks good. Thank you, Collector. :)

The only thing missing is the old "skin" and the "Sierra" (i.e. mountain) icon, but those can wait. ;)

It's there.

Yup! It's much easier on the eyes (in my opinion).

Everything seems to be working okay. One minor glitch: the directories next to "Board Index" seem to be missing.

Like I said, the Classic Sierra theme has not yet been updated, but go ahead and report any issues with it so I have a list to check for the update. Not sure when I'll have time to do it, though. As before, if you have any issues you can't live with, you can always use Prosilver. It is the latest. But I agree, the Sierra theme is easier on the eyes.

Just some reading I was doing to see if it was possible.
I did not want to upgrade the board directly. That could have hosed it if anything went wrong. Creating a new board of the old version and copying the required files from the old board, followed by a database restore from the old board is usually enough, but the restore kept bombing. I ended up just creating a full copy of the database and forum files to use as a host for the upgrade did work. I was already in the process of this when you posted those links. All of the upgrade info is already linked on their download page.

Cool. Was just trying to do my duty as the servant to the boards! :D

We appreciate it, Collector. :)

I've noticed that the board still looks blue until I log in. It's not a major issue, obviously; it's just different to the way it used to be, but no worries. ;)

Thank you!

Yeah, ProSilver is the default because the SHP isn't fully tested (as he mentioned). So keeping default as ProSilver ensures nothing's "broken."

No, that would have been helpful if I had not already been in the process of upgrading. I just needed to safeguard the exiting forum. In the past I have upgraded by installing a temporary board and and updating it with the files and database from the existing board and then upgrading the temporary board. After that I would just replace the old with the newly upgraded board. We don't need a repeat of what happened to the old tawmis.com forum.

Why you gotta bring back those old memories? :D
