OK... are you a candle holder in the Schattenjager castle?

Rath Darkblade - no, not a candle holder.

You're the stable boy!
(no, I didn't bother to read a damn thing in this thread)

DeadPoolX - no, not the stable boy.
(If you would read that thread, you would know -
I am not living)
Another little hint:
Ask me about my usage, about my main function
(Jules, where are you )

I was making a joke. If I really intended to play, I would have read the entire thread.

Gabriel attempts to use you for something. He succeeds in:
a) making water gush out of you
b) sit on you
c) lay a tablecloth on you
d) ride on you
e) light you
f) stick something in you
g) other - please specify!
(Incidentally, that's a great avatar, DPX.
Where's it from?)

Rudy - no, not a statue.
DeadPoolX - O.K. - no offence from me, just wanted to clarify, if one would not read previous pages
Rath Darkblade:
c) he couldn't lay it, but he would hang it on me,
f) he could stick sth in me (depends on my construction though), but this is not my main purpose.

The St George's Bookstore coatrack?
Buchelli's "Sorry, I've been reading too much Nietsche" coatrack?
Mosely's "vaguely obscene" coatrack?
Baza's coatrack?

BBP - no, not a coatrack at all.

So far we know:
-You are not living
-You sometimes have feet
-You are usually too high to be sat upon
-If you are not too high, you will crash
-Sometimes nothing will happen if someone sits on you.
-You can consist of stone, wood, organic material, fabric, gold, silver, bronze, copper, steel, alloys
-You can’t be bought in most “normal” furniture shops
-You are considered decorative
-You are sometimes not seen when used
-Your geographical location is Germany, although there’s a chance you may be found in New Orleans or France
-A table clock can be hung on you
-You can have something stuck in you but it’s not your main purpose
mendosa, when you are answering, are you doing so specifically to the thing that you are, or are you answering as a general 'thing' in the real world? For example, if you were the coat rack in St. George’s books, are you answering in a way that
only describes that specific coat rack or are you answering as a general coat rack that can be found on any corner of the globe, made out of any material, etc?
Just curious because I'm really stumped with this one.

Jules - I'm answering as a general thing that I'm, and that is because - you can find more than one such thing in Gabriel Knight, and they are much different.
Let's say - if nobody will make right guess until Sunday - I'll reveal "the mystery" - all right?

Sounds good to me, but I'm not giving up yet!
I suppose it would be easier to narrow down if one of the particular things was chosen instead of describing the things similar in general. But it may make better sense to answer in the way you are currently doing depending on what/who you are.
Which best describes your location?
1) Schloss Ritter
2) the town of Rittersburg
3) Altotting
4) one of the museums
5) Munich
6) the hunting lodge
7) other, please specify!

My location is:
5) Munich
EDIT
and also:
6) the hunting lodge - in sense hunting club in Munich, not the hunting hut.
