Sim City 2000, that brings back memories. When was it, the summer of 1993 or 1994 I think, when I played this game for 2 months straight, nearly every day. In the end I had a map stuffed with those giant autonomous skyscrapers with a population of millions and millions of tax dollars flowing in. And then finally, the game had enough of it... and crashed

Unsustainable growth?

some Kings Quest stuff came in today
This is my 5th copy of KQII, 3rd of KQ VII, but my first black box copy of KQ VI. As for the guides I have 2 copies of the far right one but the middle and left are new. Never saw the middle one before.

Nice. I still need to pickup KQ2 sometimes, and I somehow lost the disc to my Windows-only version of KQ7 when I was a kid. Big box PC games look so good.

Just couldn't wait for the other game to come in, so here's one I'm really excited about. Unfortunately part of the back is crushed in a bit, but at least the corners are fine. It's still sealed.

I've had over the years, Sim City, Sim City Ancient Cities expansion, Sim City 2000, and Sim City 4 Deluxe. I love the series- just no time to play anymore.

That's pretty cool (of the store). I imagine it makes sense, since it's not like you were asking to swap it out for another game.

This just arrived today.
LSL 5 (3rd copy)
Les Manley Lost in L.A. (2nd copy).
Lucked out on this. It was only 12.00 for both and that's a steal as Lost in L.A. is fairly rare (I sold a copy a little while back for almost 40$)

Nice. I don't think I have original boxes anymore for either of my Les Manly games... and I am not even 100% sure I ever beat the second one... I am pretty sure I beat the first one.

I'd never heard of Les Manley before. Looks pretty interesting.

It's pretty much a knock off of Leisure Suit Larry, the way many people think that the Legend of Kyrandia was a knock off of King's Quest.

I have heard a few people say Sierra was involved with it. Is that true, or do you think they just mean its a rip off of LSL (so no LSL no Les Manley).

I see only one Sierra name in the game credits. Ken Allen, the composer.

How does that guide compare to the Space Quest Companion?
