What they're really trying to tell you, Rudy, is that you're buying the "uncool" games. :D

But for $14 dollars?? Score! 8-)

Today I found Sierra Originals Urban Runner, in box and with documentation.

And the question is: is it scary?

I would call it more of a suspense game than horror, but if you call running for your life scary, then yes. Would you let me know if my installer works with the Originals version?

The game isn't scary, but, as Collector said, it's certainly suspenseful. It has many timed sequences and these can become a bit stressful. The story is nice, though.

I was able to acquire this rather cheaply... A shrinkwrapped Larry, which I rarely see for sale. Seems like most people at least unboxed Larry :-)

Anyway, I was wondering a little bit, as the Requirements Sticker is grey/white and slightly unfamiliar to me. Additionally the inner box is white and not yellow. On the other hand, the Rqts. Sticker does not look like the typical Slash Release. And the inner box is indeed a BOX, and not part of the outer slipcover, as I saw it with Slash Releases. Any opinions on that one?

It is probably a 3rd party reissue. Is the requirements label printed on the box or a sticker?

It's a sticker on the slip cover, not on the shrink-wrap.

I was not referring to anything on the shrink-wrap, but the slip cover. Slash and other 3rd party companies just printed the requirements as part of the cover instead of a sticker pasted on the cover. You should still be able to determine this even without removing the shrink-wrap. If you can't tell by sight, just feel the edge of the requirements for the edge of a sticker.

The rqts. label is indeed a sticker. And according to this http://www.vintage-sierra.net/slash3.php a white cardboard inner box is not too uncommon for SCI0 games.

The requirements is the surest giveaway without opening it, which is why I asked.

Thanks a lot! And while we are at it: What is this? A SQ1 SCI Remake shrinkwrapped in a SQ1 AGI Box?

I seem to remember hearing about this one before. Perhaps the initial VGA release?

The Rqts label states, that it needs 640KB of RAM and supports Roland MT-32. That should point in the direction of the SCI Re-release, right? Or did AGI at any time support the MT-32?
