I love the bits that they're thinking about 'maybe' putting into the manual. There's no such thing as a bad pun.
I really hope that they take this further.
And yes, exciting news indeed! I can't wait!

Playing the HERO-U beta as a backer... and I have to say, I am at least, pleasantly surprised...! I was worried because some of the screenshots and early video releases made it seem very paper like fluid (like Southpark)... and it's not. It's smooth animation.
One thing that keeps throwing me off is I press F5 to save, and that's actually the Bug Reporting System in Beta.

I am
so looking forward to playing this.
Wasn't F5 the classic key for saving in Sierra games? And F7 for restoring.
As the kids nowadays say: "Shut up and take my money!"

Not looking to beat the game; clicking on everything, trying everything (even if it leads to the end of the game in a bad way) to do proper beta testing... but did find some cool ... references. Not really spoilers, but just in case... don't click the image to see a larger version if you don't want to read the text.

Bruce Banner and Company? Well, that would make Shawn green with envy...

I can not even tell you HOW MANY puns there are in this game - they take
EVERY opportunity to lay out PUNS.

I'm not deterred by that. Punnage is funnage.
(Besides, I've been writing for nearly 20 years now, and I like wordplay of all kinds).

You will love this game then.

Definitely waiting to pick up a copy of this...
As Erasmus says in QfG4: "This time, for sure!"
Glad to see Corey is negotiating with gog.com and Humble Bundle, but I'll probably pick it up from Steam as I already have a Steam client.
Very excited to see that beta release might be next Monday (or the one after!)

The trailer looks like a laundry list of traits the game claim to posses.
I'd prefer a trailer that expose us to the story.

Well, it's about a Rogue, who joins a Hero University (thus Hero-U)...

Heh. If you want to know the story, buy the game.
Or wait until it's out, and then read the story on Wikipedia (if you want to be spoiled, that is).
Quest for Glory was the game that introduced me to CRPGs. I
still can't wait.
