No, not GK1... Try not to look at the cow itself, but at what's around it...

How can they be closing the forums so soon after the release of the games?BBP wrote:Here's the announcement of the Pinkerton Road forum:el_pombo wrote:OFF-TOPIC: Any news on GK4? I got my hopes high when they did the remake!
Important: Pinkerton Forums Closing on May 6
An important message from Jane:
Dear Pinkerton Road forum friends:
We are closing the Pinkerton Road forums on May 6, 2016. Currently Pinkerton Road does not have any game projects in development, nor are any on the horizon. Our original Kickstarter games, Moebius: Empire Rising and the GK 20th Anniversary edition, did not earn enough sales to make continued game development practical, even on our modest scale. So we have decided to shut down much of the Pinkerton Road website functionality.
Jane is currently focused on writing books (under Jane Jensen and Eli Easton) and Robert is working with Raleigh on her new album and looking for other composing and consulting opportunities.
We enjoyed the opportunity to work so closely with gamers and to meet many of you in person. We’ll never forget the experience. Thank you again for your unwavering support!
You can follow Jane and Robert on Facebook (Robert Holmes and Jane Jensen).
FYI: The Linux version of Moebius is due to be released within the next two weeks by Phoenix Online. Kickstarter backers will be notified when it's available, and Phoenix will be posting announcements on their site and social media pages.
All the best,
Jane Jensen Holmes
You are all welcome to join the Phoenix Online forum for continued discussion (or help requests) of Moebius and Gabriel Knight here: http://www.postudios.com/blog/forum/
This is from GK3! But I can't remember ever seeing that lovely cow! I'm at a loss, here!BBP wrote:No, not GK1... Try not to look at the cow itself, but at what's around it...
Yeah I got no clue on that one.el_pombo wrote:This is from GK3! But I can't remember ever seeing that lovely cow! I'm at a loss, here!BBP wrote:No, not GK1... Try not to look at the cow itself, but at what's around it...
I thought it might be some ester egg activated in the game's console, but I couldn't find it in the documented ester eggs.Tawmis wrote:Yeah I got no clue on that one.el_pombo wrote:This is from GK3! I found that beautiful animal!!!BBP wrote:It actually IS in the official Easter Egg document that came with the game - it just never made it to any easter egg page!
Maybe you searched for "ghosts"! I think it gives some information about GK4 (the game that will probably never see the light of day)!Tawmis wrote:Yeah I don't know that I have ever found ANY Easter Eggs in GK - any of them.
I found plenty of Easter Eggs in just about every other "adventure" game from Sierra.
I think the only Easter Egg I know of - and not even sure it's an Easter Egg - is searching the GK3 computer for Vampires or something...
LOLBBP wrote:No you're supposed to look for vampires... the SIDNEY eggs are the Spam mail, searching for GK4 (you'll get an article on ghosts) and searching for Tycho.
Good find El_pombo!
For the record, it's outside the Couiza train station. You can also hear cow sounds.
Very well!BBP wrote:Am replaying GK1, found it's Jackson Square Overlook!
