It would we nice if SpaceVenture can get broader distribution and if Cygnus can help...

Honestly, the three paragraph justification for the unreasonable price is a little unnecessary. He should have just said that they realized they launched at the wrong price point and left it at that.

I thought it was a cool little insight. Ken is very much a businessman. And he's been out of the gaming industry. And he's willing to admit it, while explaining why he thought his price was justified. Made for better reading than, "Whoops. We lowered the price to match today's standards."

True, I also thought it was interesting to read how game prices changed over the generations. I still remember buying games in the game stores way back when (possibly mid-to-late-90s?). Back then, brand-new games over here could be priced at $90-100, easy.
As for the picture: is Ken wearing a sombrero? *shrug*

Yes, but that's an old photo of him. Clearly.
I imagine during his time on the boat, they've no doubt docked at some Spanish speaking country or thousand of them.
Or if he ever just traveled south of the San Diego border, while they were still in Coarsegold - and came down this way and went to Tijuana.
They slap those on your head, grab your head, pour a drink down your throat, while blowing a whistle and shaking your head.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but ... Tijuana always reminds me of this.
Is Tijuana anything like that? I'd wager no, not really.

Yes to cock fighting, yes to drunk people passed out, yes to donkey shows.

Greetings (this is Ken Williams) . The PC VR version is coming in the next 2 to 6 weeks. At least for the moment, the only place it will be sold is on Steam, and will be part of the same Steam bundle as the Pc, Mac, and Steam Deck version. I haven't tried running it yet so unfortunately I can't tell you much more than that. I know that it will be benefitting from all of the enhancements we have done for the Quest 2, plus the graphics from the PC versions, PLUS we are adding a third locomotion method now (Teleport). Players should be VERY happy with it.
