No, but the main character is similar to Snake.

Yes. I can't say much more without giving it away. :)

That's it! Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is not just considered the best pure stealth Splinter Cell game (the later games did away with stealth because some gamers found the SC series "too hardcore" and they "wanted to feel cool" when playing), but also one of the best stealth games ever made. Seriously, the AI in that game is unbelievably good (but not cheap). Guards will actually notice things out of place or if lights were left on (or turned off) and check things out thoroughly, as opposed to most guards in stealth games that are so dumb they deserve to be shot.

Sweet!

I remember this console game that was multiplayer, where you played aliens, collecting stuff...

I'll take another stab since that one was too easy.

I remember an RPG, where I had to fight orcs... and I was looking for a powerful weapon to help end the war.

It's not Warcraft III.

(Although, I admit - I specifically mentioned Orcs to create that red herring - but Orcs are the "main" villains in the game still... I just knew Warcraft would come up first) :D

... I'm thinking of the first chapter of the Warcraft 3 campaign (i.e. the human chapter, "The Scourge of Lordaeron") -- where Prince Arthas finds a powerful sword, Frostmourn. :P (Of course, it doesn't stop the war -- just starts a new one!) :P

Also, I know that WC3 isn't exactly an RPG (more like an RTS, with RPG elements). ;)

Is it Middle-earth: Shadow of War?

No, this game doesn't take place on Middle Earth.
