Sierra Games: Where Do I Belong?

I think this was on the original forum. Made me think of bringing it here since we can attach images in these threads.

So the point of the game is to try and guess where a fraction of a screen shot comes from. You can use any screen shot from any OFFICIAL Sierra (or Sierra "Family" related) game (none of the fan remakes, please!). It can be any part of the screen shot. Just try to make it big enough to be able to tell WHAT the image is. (Otherwise don't get a 10x10 pixel of some grass an expect anyone to know where it's from!)

When you guess - and it's verified you're right by the poster - you then post your image.

Also you must guess the EXACT game. Thus you can't say "King's Quest" - you must specific "King's Quest 1", "King's Quest 2", etc. (Unless of course, the game is a one shot deal, like "Heart of China" or something...)

You may only guess ONE game per POST. And can not guess again, until your choice is verified as incorrect by the original poster of the image.

One final rule - PLEASE UPLOAD THE IMAGES TO THE FORUM DIRECTLY! Both the "snap" shots pieces (and the FULL PIECES as well, if you post it after someone has guessed). This way if anything ever happens or you clean out your photobucket, imageshack, etc - the history of the images will remain on the forum and not become broken images.

I will begin. And make it... somewhat easy.

Good idea, Tawm! I like the cropping idea better than the full screen. This way, it'll be harder for the easier games.

Could this be King's Quest 2?

Yeah. I thought Cropping would make it a little more difficult. We really do have some resident Sierra experts who know 99% of the game inside and out. So small, selected areas from a screen shout be at least a little more challenging. (Because then it comes down to some deduction of looking at the graphics and trying to remember what games came out around that era).

King's Quest 3. It's the rock at the bottom of the path from the wizard's house.

Swing and a miss. It isn't.

Then I'll throw a King's Quest I out there. But seriously, I was pretty sure that damn rock was in KQ2 ;)

He's ruined my whole night with this. I'm looking for that rock everywhere.

That yellow/brown thing above it sure looks like the chasm, but it isn't.

Da** pirates.

I am on the smack.

Jules is right. It IS KQ2. I totally flaked. I _was_ going to use a KQ1 image but changed my mind.

KQ2 From here:

It's good when I start the game and mess it up from the start. Go me.

Score! The Black Cauldron would've been my second guess. No worries, Tawm. ;)

Alrighty, here's a good one...

You got it, Andy! It's when Larry's at the saloon in Freddy Pharkas. (This shot is without the talking character portrait.)

And I thought this was going to be obvious. Nope. Not Quest for Glory.
