I am curious as to how many of you have the Quest for Glory game. Let's hear what you have and what is your favorite. I have everything several times over. The only thing that I am missing is the the Quest for Glory Anthology and Quest for Glory 1 EGA standalone. My favorite is SoD.

Andrea, I just discovers that the forum upgrade broke the polls for the SHP style and I would imagine the Black Pearl. It may take me a little while to track down the problem. You can switch your style to ProSilver long enough to vote or just post what you have.

I have the Quest for Glory Collection, plus a non-boxed ( ) of Dragon Fire. I'd love to have the boxed version of every single game, but they're fairly pricey. Thankfully, I'm not a collector like... ehm... Collector or Rudy ;)

Oh, and my favorite game in the series is Trial by Fire

I have the Anthology, the older Collection series, as well as the individual versions of QfG1 VGA, QfG3, and QfG5. The only ones I don't have are individual QfG1 EGA, QfG2 and QfG4. My favorite is Shadows of Darkness because of the story, music and scenery.

I have all of the games, including both the EGA and VGA versions of QFG1. Although this probably doesn't count, I also have the QFG2 remake. :P

I have all of the standalone games, although I haven't played them all yet so I can't name a favorite.

I've got everything except the QFG1 repackage. I had Hero's Quest, what am I going to buy the same game with a different, bad name for?

That also gives me a chance to say it - I've always been annoyed with the name change. Hero's Quest fit with the rest of the Sierra offerings. I still think of the games that way and have never been able to fully adopt the "Quest for Glory" title. Hero's Quest 2, 3, 4 & 5.

As a side trivia note, I have a scan of a Radio Shack catalog offering Hero's Quest 2. It will be going up on Sierra Gamers at some point. Radio Shack tended to get a bit ahead of the actual game release with their print catalogs and I managed to hang onto one. Funny stuff.

So, you have all of the games in some form or another? I'm assuming that you know the why of the name change. Ken wan not happy about it, either. He has a couple of posts on Sierra Gamers about this.

Yea - I got nailed by the same interface bug. All of them, then the collections.

I've never seen that Ken wasn't happy about the name change. I'll have to go find those posts. Heh.

I have none of those choices, Collector - I have the QfG Collection (with QfG1 EGA & VGA) and I have an original, boxed copy of QfG5 that I got the day it came out and played nonstop until 6am the next morning. :P I was obsessed! with that game. That was the only game that I stayed up so late for.

Oh - and I, too, have the QfG2 VGA remake. ;)

That was regrettable, but unavoidable, in order to avoid some sort of lawsuit from Milton-Bradley over their "Hero Quest" board game. :(
