SQ3 patch include correct driver?

I don't have my copy of SQ3 handy so I can't try the patch. Does the SQ3 patch include the correct SNDBLAST.DRV audio driver that enables digital sound effects in the game? ie- "Where am I?", ship warp sound (same as in SQ4), etc. If not it should probably be added. Someone on the Steam forums said it wasn't included in the patch and I'm just confirming.

EDIT: I just realised that SQ3 doesn't have a standalone patch. Maybe one should be added to add the correct SNDBLAST.DRV driver. I have it on my website if you need it. Along with a MTBLAST.DRV as well. They will work with any SCI0/SCI01 game.

SNDBLAST.DRV
MTBLAST.DRV

Thanks MI, I had completely forgotten about that. I will be redoing the SQ patch and the SQ installers soon. I'll include it with them when I do.

Nice :).

It's too bad there wasn't a GMBLAST.DRV driver so one could play with General MIDI instruments mapped to Windows MIDI and also have digital sound effects. There exists a GM.DRV. I wonder how much work it would need to add digital sound effect support. It's times like these that I wish I had gotten into programming at a younger age rather than music lol.

EDIT: Oh yes, the SNDBLAST.DRV driver also makes the Adlib music stereo whereas the regular ADL.DRV driver is only mono.

This is where it would be nice to have the likes of NRS around, still.
