Steve's XP Games Corner

I just stumbled on this site, Steve's XP Games Corner. It looks like one of those sites that surfaced after the release of XP like Inferno, where they were blindly grasping at straws to get old games to run on XP and were more obsessed with unrelated details like going into detail about Windows maintenance than directly focusing on the games themselves. I would have normally dismissed it as another worthless site, but noticed this:
On top of that, he managed to get a hold of and is distributing an experimental build from when laffer35 and I were working on it. This is exactly why I don't want others distributing my installers and patches.
It is nothing more than a very awkward walkthrough on how to manually setup GK2 in DOSBox, unpack the GK2 Subtitle patch from here and manually add the patch. This took him days to figure out? He claimed that the patch messes up the RESOURCE.CFG when the only thing it does is to add the line "language = 351". The man is an idiot.Thursday, 17th June, 2010
Gabe revisited
I was recently alerted to the presence of an English language subtitles patch for the venerable Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within. It took me a few days to get it working, and I've written it up for Steve's XP Games Corner, here:
