Collector,
I just acquired a boxed Island of Dr. Brain on 3.5" floppies. Using your installer all seemed to go well. When i ran it though I got the message "100.msg not found". There is no such file in the installed folder, nor on the floppy disks.
p.s. I also have the cd version installed as well. Thus i called the floppy version folder DrBrain2a

Looks like another version difference problem. The floppy part of the installer was based on version 1.0 and you have 1.100. Check your PM.

Ok Collector, I got all 4 disks from Gat, unzipped them all and ran the installer. Still getting the same problem...100.msg not found. There is no such file on any of the disks. I am PMing them to you.

Support for your version has been added. You can download the installer again.

Ok Collector, I downloaded the new installer and it worked. The game runs fine except for one thing, probably not an installer issue. When I tried to save I clicked the icon bar, the menu flashed on the screen, but when i tried to click on save, it flashed off as soon as i moved the mouse. Anyone else have this problem?

I took a quick look at it and it is indeed an issue with the game itself. It still happens if you use the game's original installer and don't ally the game's patch. I'm not sure if there is much I'll be able to do about it, but I will continue to poke around it. In the mean time use the cursor keys to use the settings dialog.

I figured it out. Change the DOSBox setting noautolock mouse to autolock.

Still some oddities if you escape the game window and come back in, at least during the copy protection screen. Still it is the a best solution for the time being. I'll make it the default setting for the game.
Edit, I have reuploaded the installer with autolock on as the default. Thanks for finding a solution.
