I'm still trying to figure out exactly how. It's in the source code and I enabled it by default for my build, but if it's a console command I don't know what the command would be. But it is there. I'm using it now.
It seems it doesn't yet work for KQ5Win, but that'll probably come afterwards.

windows_cursors=true in the ini.
just a matter of preference. If you originally played the Windows game you may prefer the Windows cursors for nostalgia's sake if for no other. If DOS was the first version you played, you may prefer the DOS ones. Personally I find the large DOS cursors horsey and distracting, but then I played the Windows game, first.Tawmis wrote:What's the benefit of a small cursor?

I agree. I always thought the DOS pointer icons looked ugly and to big. I submitted the request to the ScummVM devs for the KQ6 Win icons and thebluegr dev enabled them. So I just recently submitted the request for the KQ5 Win icons as well. Hopefully the Devs will work on those too
