Happy New Year!
2010 is over and now it's 2011. Hard to believe, right?

We're in central time (USA), and around 10-till-midnight we turned on to one of the local stations for the new years "big apple drop", but it never happened! Apparently they did not delay the Eastern time zone broadcast for us Central time zoners! And we're on standard local cable, not any satellite feed or anything else...
No worries... we flipped back to watching the rest of Back to the Future III on AMC, but still, we were pretty surprised that we weren't able to enjoy the "new year kickoff" that we're used to seeing...
And it's raining here tonight, so no neighborhood fireworks were going off either ...
oh well!

Think Y2K was bad? Look up the general hysteria in Europe when the year
1000 rolled around.
See you all this time next year, when the world would definitely end and we would all take an intergalactic trip to the planet Blisstonia.

Happy (late) Y2K10 everyone! I've been really busy with some projects and family issues, but I've been lurking even when I haven't posted.
Hope everything is awesome!

Aside from the fact that a 5 symbol phrase makes a bad abbreviation for a 4 symbol phrase, doesn't that decipher to 2010?
(thinks of having to do 2010 over again)
(screams in terror)

Apparently, I'm still in denial that it's 2011.

Very late (which is ironic considering Australia was among the first nations to hit 2011) but happy new year.
