Un-Boxing Video (Could use some help)

Post by cpages2 »

A good friend and I will be shooting our first sierra un-boxing video this weekend. I contacted Rudy over at Sierra Chest and he helped me with some facts and intresting info related to the first game we are doing, Space Quest I (small black box version).

Here is what I could use, since are all fans and im sure we have all seen a few un-boxing videos, if you can give me some feedback and insight in what you would like to see or if you can provide some interesting acts about that copy of the game I will include it in the video. Of course all credit will be given (including any websites you want to promote).

The plan is to shoot about a 10-15 minute HD Video where we discuss the game, contents of box and general/interesting facts about the particular game. There will also be some humorous banter as I am a huge vintage game fan and my buddy well lets say not to much.

Here is our site to keep an eye out for video to come up and any additional content:

Thank you everyone!!

We will open up the Space Quest box and talk about the Box Art, Contents, extras it came with at that time, discs and game it self. Just kind of a video to share with people who might not realize what used to come with games or just want to see for nostalgic reasons.

So what's so strange is - I never really heard the term of 'unboxing' in opening and going over something. However, after reading this post the other - today on FB, the D&D page linked this:

Unboxing 'Wrath of Ashardalon' - the D&D Board Game.

Pretty cool concept.

So when you guys do the unboxing of the Sierra games, will it just be a write up with pictures, or you guys also going to record and video upload something (to say... like Youtube or something?)
