I have been working on developing a new style for the SHP forums. I am trying to make it in keeping with the main SHP site. It is functional, but is not quite ready, so I have not set it as the default style. If you want to get a preview of it or even start using it, go to your User Control Panel to set your style to SHP.

I have to get used to it, but - so far - I'm liking it!

I like it... it's bright and easy for the eyes. The colors are cool

My only complaint is the width of the board. Not quite as wide as I'd like it to be. Means too much scrolling up and down on the index..

I agree with Misslilo and I add also that the "X", "Y", "A" are not my favorite signals for new posts/no new posts/etc.

But the general look is indeed good and less stressing for the eyes

The graphics are what I want to change the most. I would like to have it wider, myself. I still need to tweak the CSS more. It will be a while before it is ready, since I will not be able to work much more on it until the weekend.

Since the graphics are what you want to change - have you considered sort of using what BLACK PEARL does? Use the Sierra Logo. Gold for no new messages, read for new messages.

Am I the only one who actually prefers light text on dark backgrounds? I switched back to the old style for my account (well, I think it's the old style).

It's slightly easier on the eyes with The Black Pearl.

This probably just needs a little more tweaks for ease of reading.

I am more used to it today... not sure if you made more tweaks? Doesn't seem as white? I think you made the border around it grey? It helps.

I liked the darker version (black pearl) myself.

I think I just have a white aversion.

Anyone that likes Black Pearl can set it back their User Control Panel.
