King Quest V Ending's problem

Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help . I'm actually playing the v's King Quest and I'm pretty close to the end. In fact, I'm actually trying to dodge the dragon's fire in the form of a rabbit. When the dragon prepare to strike it's final blow, the game freeze. The picture still move (the music play, the rabbit still "breathing") but I can't do anything to make a action! I wait 15 minutes and the icone's still a hourglass. I really can't cast the third spell before the end of the game and I find a answer to that situation nowhere on the web. Thank's for help!

I have heard of this problem before, but have never encountered it, myself. I don't know if it is speed related or not, but you could try lowering your DOSBox cycles. There is also the old Sierra work around with playing with the speed and details settings in the game's control.

Thanks for your help! I follow your advise (lower the detail, speed up the game AND ajust the cycles in DOSBox....but for nothing's good. It don't work. Another solution?

You ma have to back up to an even earlier save to try these things.
